Stacy Jill Calvert is a writer, director and producer from Los Angeles. For over 20+ years, she has worked in film, television, digital media and live events.
Her latest project, HER CURVE is premiering at Outfest Los Angeles in July and will also screen at OUTSouth (Durham, NC), FilmOut (San Diego) this year.
Stacy’s directorial narrative debut, THE BRA MITZVAH screened at over 20 festivals around the world, including Film Pride (Brighton, UK) The Reeling LGBTQ+ International Film Festival (Chicago), the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival & the Seattle Queer Film Festival. It was also nominated for the 2023 Best of New Filmmakers LA Award for a comedy short.
Her experimental short film, ROAD TRIP, won 3rd place – short film at the Embarras Valley Film Festival in 2014.
Stacy earned her MFA in Media Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
