Stacy is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections with artists, creatives, and activists, facilitating collaborations that cultivate communities and drive impactful projects forward

Her early career focused on the emerging world of e-commerce. During the dot-com heyday, Stacy worked as a Senior producer and associate product manager for websites including eToys US / UK where she started as the Music Producer and then moved to London as part of the US team that launched and managed eToys UK.

Stacy is a seasoned media professional boasting an illustrious two-decade career in digital media, live events, and film/television. She is dedicated to nurturing profound connections within the realms of artistry, creativity, and activism, fostering collaborations that enrich communities and propel impactful projects forward.

Her journey commenced in the burgeoning landscape of e-commerce during the early days of digital media. At eToys US=Stacy’s role evolved from customer service, to website producer to Senior Producer when she relocated to London as part of the team that spearheaded and managed eToys UK. 

Returning to Los Angeles in 2000, Stacy assumed the mantle of Production Manager at Ticketmaster.com within CitySearch/IAB. Here, she coordinated with both internal and external clients to manage and produce customer-facing promotions for clients including Bon Jovi, Disney and Ringling Bros. Stacy also managed a team of designers that revised the seating maps on Ticketmaster.com. 

In 2005, back in Chicago, Stacy joined the team orchestrating Gay Games VII, a globally celebrated quadrennial event uniting LGBTQ+ athletes and enthusiasts worldwide. Her contributions were instrumental in the success of this event, held across iconic Chicago venues like Wrigley Field and Soldier Field.

Taking an entrepreneurial leap in 2008, Stacy co-founded Queerly Wed with her wife, Melissa—a pioneering platform offering wedding resources for LGBTQ+ couples.

Her academic pursuits led her to Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 2010, where Stacy not only pursued her MS degree but also actively contributed to cross-departmental initiatives. She co-founded Cinethesia, a feminist one-day film festival, and served as the Co-Director of the esteemed Big Muddy Film Festival. Her dedication culminated in earning an MFA in Media Arts in 2015.

Stacy’s creative flair extended into the realm of film direction and production. Co-directing and producing the short film HER CURVE The film, adapted from Kris Dresen’s graphic novel “GRACE,” stars  Tina D’Elia, Dalila Ali Rajah, and Candis Cayne. The film premiered at Outfest Los Angeles, and is currently traveling in the film festival circuit. 

Her directorial debut, THE BRA MITZVAH, captivated audiences worldwide, screening at prestigious festivals including Film Pride (Brighton, UK), The Reeling LGBTQ+ International Film Festival (Chicago), the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival, and the Seattle Queer Film Festival. Nominated for Best Comedy Short at the 2023 Best of NFMLA Awards, the film garnered acclaim across diverse platforms.

Stacy’s experimental short film, “ROAD TRIP,” earned third place at the Embarras Valley Film Festival in 2014, marking another milestone in her diverse and accomplished career.
