EVENT PRODUCER

Over the past decade, I have curated and produced events for a variety of organizations from burlesque shows to film festivals including The Big Muddy Film Festival in Carbondale, Illinois, and most recently as the Director of Programming for the ClexaCon Film Festival  I absolutely love working with artists and filmmakers and having the opportunity to share their work with audiences. Representation is of the utmost importance to me and I have been lucky to work with organizations whose missions reflect that.

In 2020, I was named as one of the new Executive Directors of ClexaCon. ClexaCon is a media and entertainment convention for LGBTQ+ women, trans and non-binary fans, and creators. During this past year, as with many event professionals, pivoted to producing our content virtually. In 2020, I produced the 7 day ClexaCon Film Festival in April, and co-produced SQUAD fest and PubCon. The virtual events have continued this year through watch parties, panels and Q&As. In April, 2021, I co-produced our 3-day ClexaCon Virtual event. The convention included Q&As and Meet & Greets with actors from the television shows Charmed, Warehouse13, Teenage Bounty Hunters and more. I also curated and programmed panels with topics ranging from LGBTQ TikTok influencers to The State of Independent Queer Cinema to Queer Television Writers which included writers and showrunners from Insecure, The Red Line and The L Word: Generation Q.

In October, 2021, we held our first in-person event since 2019! Guests included celebs from Star Trek Discovery, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Charmed, Legends of Tomorrow, Warrior Nun and more!
